The July meeting of EAA Chapter 284 will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Red Stewart Airfield at 2:30 PM. Mike McKosky will talk about his most recent riveting experiences with Ivan. I expect that a local high school student and his parent will be visiting.
IF you are going to AirVenture I would suggest purchasing you tickets in advance on the EAA web site. I will be marking out camping space when I arrive, probably on the 21st. In the past I have been able to mark out sufficient space with little difficulty. Occasionally campground security will come around and want to see the camping credential for for those who are expected to be arriving. Technically camping fees should be paid from the day that the space is marked out until a person leaves.
Our Fly In and Pancake breakfast is scheduled for September 4th, with set up on the 3rd.
The chapter members decided that in October we will be visiting the National Museum of the Air Force at Wright Patterson AFB.
See everyone on Sunday.
