As a group we have decided on Friday, April 15th for our tour. For information on the tour, times etc please see http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/bts110415 Clicking on next at the bottom of the page will take you to the registration form. I’m not permitted to do a group reservation. I’m not sure if I can register every one individually on the form. I can try if you let me know that you are coming. Each participant must bring a Government issued photo ID card such as a drivers license. The addressed asked for must match that which is on your ID.
Please let me know if you plan on making the tour. I don’t know how fast the tours fill up, so I suggest registering as soon as possible.
Just a reminder that the Chili Cook Off at Red Stewart Airfield will be Saturday, February 19th, Noon – 3 PM. Bring you chili, cornbread or just your appetite.
— Bob Luken
Red Stewart Airfield scheduled its 2011 Chili Cook Off for Saturday February 12th from 12 – 2 PM. Our February meeting would normally occur and the 13th. We are moving the Sunday afternoon meeting to Saturday February 12, 2011 from 12 – 2PM which will give us the opportunity to meet the airport regulars and perhaps even get some to join us.
EAA Chapter 284 will hold its December 2010 meeting on SUnday December 12 at 2 PM. Meeting location is Red Stewart Airfield Waynesville OH (40I). Bob Dewenter of Centerville OH is starting a Pietenpol to be powered by a converted Corvair engine. He has returned from the recent Corvair College #19, which was held November 12-14 in Barnwell S.C.
For those who may not know William Wynne puts on free weekend seminars on converting Corvair engines. For those considering a Corvair conversion the Corvair Colleges are a great way to get some hands on experience, as well as to meet other Corvair builders. We look forward to Bob’ presentation.
