EAA284 Chapter Meeting March 11 2018

The March Meeting of EAA Chapter 284 will occur on Sunday, March 11, 2018,

This month’s meeting will take pace at the Manufactory, located at 12055 Mosteller Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. This is about 1 mile north of where Mosteller Rd passes under I-275. Meeting Time is 2:30 pm. As they will be providing a tour of the facilities be sure to arrive no later that 2:30 pm (remember that this Sunday is also the day that we change our clocks to Daylight Savings Time, so be sure to Spring Ahead).

EAA284 Chapter Meeting Feb 11 2018

The February meeting of EAA Chapter 284 will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:30 PM. Location: Red Stewart Airfield, (40I) Waynesville, OH

Last month we began a discussion on reamers. I am suggesting that we continue to discuss this topic. If you have any reamers in your shop please bring them. Hopefully we can see a selection of different types of reamers and discuss their use. At one point I had a catalog of various metal working tools. It seems that that company went out of business.

EAA284 Chapter Meeting Nov 12 2017

EAA Chapter 284 will hold its November meeting on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Red Stewart Airfield, Waynesville OH (meeting time 2:30 PM).

I have mounted my 12 K dual fuel generator on a trailer and plan to bring it to the meeting on Sunday. The generator will be available for use during of Fly In and Pancake Breakfast. Chapter renewal time is fast approaching and we need to consider our officers for 2018. We can continue with our present officers. Anyone who would like to be an officer foe 2018 should step up. We should also consider paying our chapter dues of $20.00 for next year.

EAA284 Chapter Meeting Oct 8 2017

EAA Chapter 284 will hold its October 2017 meeting at Red Stewart Airfield (40I) at 2:30 PM October 8, 2017. Bob Luken will be reporting on last months Fly-In, including a financial report.

He has also purchased a 12 KW generator that we will be able to use at the airport for the Fly-in. It is currently a gasoline powered generator that he is planning to convert to propane.
