As has been our practice the October Meeting of EAA Chapter 284 will be held away from our usual place at Red Stewart Airfield.
Our October 14, 2018 meeting will be held at Aerodrome Les Noyers, 327 Brickel Rd, Jamestown, OH 45335. The Aerodrome is a private airstrip dedicated to building and flying Great War replicas. Currently, they have three airplanes under construction. They even have a rotary engine.
If you fly-in or drive, be sure to stick around for the Night Airshow on Saturday 9/1 and Sunday morning EAA Chapter 284 Pancake Breakfast on Sunday 9/2 (Young Eagles flown 10AM – 1PM).
EAA284’s annual Taildragger Fly-In and Pancake Breakfast will be on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 7am until 11am at 40I (Red Stewart Airfield). The EAA chapter will be flying Young Eagles at 10AM so be sure to sign up after eating. It is always a great time. For those wanting to camp overnight on the airfield, be sure to fly-in early on Saturday afternoon so you don’t miss the Air Show at 5PM and Night Air Show at 8:30PM hosted by Stewart Flying Service.
EAA Chapter 284 will hold its July 2018 meeting on Sunday July 6, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Red Stewart Airfield (40I), Waynesville OH .
As always we will discuss our projects and AirVenture. For those going to AirVenture the EAA AirVenture App is available in your device store. Its free and is a convenient way to keep tabs on what is happening. The app does receive frequent updates during the week.

The March Meeting of EAA Chapter 284 will occur on Sunday, March 11, 2018,
This month’s meeting will take pace at the Manufactory, located at 12055 Mosteller Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. This is about 1 mile north of where Mosteller Rd passes under I-275. Meeting Time is 2:30 pm. As they will be providing a tour of the facilities be sure to arrive no later that 2:30 pm (remember that this Sunday is also the day that we change our clocks to Daylight Savings Time, so be sure to Spring Ahead).
